Dream, series of strange events. I in my early twenties, lost in Germany or Sweden, somewhere in Europe. I was trying to get home and ended up hitching a ride with Matty but we didn't know each other in the dream. I was sat in the backseat and my viewpoint was as if it was outside the car, in third person, like in Grand Theft Auto. Matty turned the music up, opened the sunroof and he began to speed up driving on the wrong side of the road going around corners. He stood up controlling the wheel with one foot and started dancing, rolling his hips in a surfing motion. We were laughing and I was scared but also found it funny too. He was wild, fun and exciting. An old couple were arguing outside his friends house and when we entered the building there were flies everywhere. The viewpoint of the dream shifted to being the old lady in a confrontation and ended with a fall, a broken hip. The old man finally understood the flies weren't her fault and we were both spitting flies out of our mouths.
This dream could symbolize a sense of being lost or out of control in your life at the moment. The unfamiliar location of Germany or Sweden represents a feeling of being in an unfamiliar or foreign situation. Hitchhiking with someone you don't know, like Matty, could indicate a willingness or desire to take risks or embrace spontaneity.
The reckless driving and Matty's wild behavior represent a desire for excitement and living life on the edge. Laughing and being scared at the same time suggests that while you may crave excitement, there is also a part of you that is cautious or afraid of the unknown.
The old couple arguing outside the house could represent conflicts or tensions in your waking life. The flies may symbolize annoyances or disturbances in your environment. The viewpoint shift to being the old lady could indicate that you are empathizing with others who are dealing with their own challenges or conflicts.
The fall and broken hip at the end of the dream may symbolize a fear of vulnerability or physical limitations. Spitting out flies could represent a need to purge or rid yourself of negative influences or situations.
Overall, this dream suggests a mix of emotions and desires for excitement and adventure, while also acknowledging the potential risks and challenges that may come with it. It may be a reflection of your current circumstances and the need to find a balance between taking risks and being mindful of the consequences.
